P.E.T. – Psychosensory Empathy Training
Advocacy Life Enhancing Life Saving Medical Intervention
For the past seven years, I’ve been developing a court-adaptable, trauma-informed intervention called P.E.T. – Psychosensory Empathy Training. It is an immersive rehabilitation program for animal cruelty offenders that utilizes emerging technologies like VR and sensory feedback to create a powerful experience designed to rewire empathy and interrupt cycles of harm.
Unlike public awareness campaigns, this program is designed for use within juvenile and adult justice systems and is grounded in behavioral science and restorative ethics. It has applications for domestic violence and youth aggression rehabilitation as well.
