That is correct!
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A BOARD OF DIRECTORS?
That depends on how you are organized. If you are a sole proprietor, then no, you do not need a board of directors. If you are an LLC you may be required to share oversight
responsibilities with others in the LLC. If you are a corporation then you will need to have a board. See your individual state requirements for these various forms of
formation. Many of our projects are sole proprietors!
IS THERE ANY HELP IN RAISING MONEY WITH CHAPPY & FRIENDS?
Yes, you get a project page on the Chappy & Friends’ website! You also get a unique url that can be used as a link or as a QR code for emails, under a button on your website, or to pin to your facebook page, etc. You even have the ability for text-to-donate and even for live fundraising events!
WHAT IS THE COST TO JOIN CHAPPY & FRIENDS?
There is an annual fee of $120 and a 7% fee of all funds raised. We platform our project fundraisers on Pledge.to where an additional small fee may apply.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT CAN MY DONORS USE?
Google Pay, Apple Pay, Credit Cards, PayPal, and Venmo. Even Crypto!
HOW DO I GET THE FUNDS I HAVE RAISED?
Chappy & Friends pays out funds you have raised against expenses you have incurred once a month. You simply submit an expense report 5 days prior to our payout date for the month.
