Misfit Farm Blind Horse Sanctuary
Our mission at Misfit Farm Blind Horse Sanctuary is to help save the lives of at-risk blind and visually impaired horses that are bound for slaughter or auction. We provide sanctuary and a safe place for them to recover, rehabilitate, adjust, learn to trust and lead enriching lives. We also strive to bring awareness and education to the public on all aspects of equine blindness, including education on training and rehabilitation. We want to show the world just how much these horses can accomplish and still lead amazing and fulfilling lives despite their disability. A large portion of blind horses will eventually end up in the slaughter and auction pipeline.
